Vindhyanchal Farmer Producer Company Ltd. (VFPCL) has been working for the last three years with CSIR–NBRI, Lucknow under the Honey Mission to integrate markets and enhance farmers’ income. Through this collaboration, VFPCL has been providing training on scientific beekeeping and honey farming, and has distributed 200 bee boxes every year, free of cost to farmers, with the support of CSIR–NBRI, Lucknow. Additionally, VFPCL continuously procures and purchases honey from farmers, ensuring them a reliable market and providing a strong platform for fair, transparent, and assured income.

Under the Floriculture Mission, Vindhyanchal Farmer Producer Company Ltd. (VFPCL), with the support of CSIR–NBRI, Lucknow, has distributed 15 lakh root cuttings of marigold and other floriculture plants to farmers in Madhya Pradesh free of cost. VFPCL also provides regular training and continuous technical support to farmers to ensure successful cultivation and adoption of floriculture practices. This initiative aims to increase farmers’ income, promote crop diversification, and improve soil health through sustainable floriculture interventions.

Integrated Farming – A Path to Higher Farmer Income

Vindhyanchal Farmer Producer Company [FPC], in a joint initiative with CSIR-NBRI Lucknow, is promoting a land-based Integrated Farming System [IFS] designed to enhance crop productivity, soil health, and farmer income. This approach focuses on improved crop planning, efficient resource utilization, soil nutrient management, and scientific cultivation techniques to achieve higher output from the same agricultural land.
Through this partnership, farmers receive incentives, quality seeds, advanced agricultural inputs, and field-level scientific guidance. CSIR-NBRI Lucknow supports the initiative by providing research-backed technologies, training programs, improved crop varieties, and demonstration models that help farmers adopt modern and sustainable farming practices.
Vindhyanchal FPO further ensures assured procurement, fair pricing, and better market linkage, helping farmers realize higher returns without middlemen.
This land-based integrated system leads to higher yields, reduced input cost, improved soil fertility, and more stable income for farmers.
This joint effort aims to build a sustainable, productive, and profitable agricultural ecosystem for the farmers of the Vindhyanchal region.
